During the construction works in Bila Tserkva, artifacts from the Old Russian and Cossack times were found. A unique set of gold jewelry was discovered among them, created around the time of the Hetmanate.
Construction and research in the Kyiv region was accompanied by an architectural and archaeological expedition from the Institute of Archeology. A treasure of gold jewelry was found in cultural layers 17-18 centuries. Experts assume, that the decorations were preserved from the times of the Hetmanate.
