For many years, he has been helping and supporting cultural and educational institutions in Kyiv.
Organizer of many Ukrainian and international art projects.

  • Yaroslav Bystrushkin was born in Kyiv, graduated with honors from the Kyiv Institute of Theater Arts named after I.K. Karpenko-Kary.
  • Bistrushkin was a co-founder and one of the managers of the largest municipal art gallery in Ukraine "Lavra".
  • U 1998 year Yaroslav Bystrushkin became the co-founder and director of the International Theater Festival "Kyiv May".
  • U 2000 year Bistrushkin created and became the president of one of the largest European music festivals "Seagull open air".
  • U 2006 year Yaroslav Bystrushkin developed and presented the concept of "Kyiv- European Capital of Culture".
  • U 2008 year Yaroslav Bystrushkin defended the thesis, and received the degree of Candidate of Art History. Began to teach at the Academy of Managerial Personnel of Culture and Arts of Ukraine, as a professor.
  • For 15 years Bistrushkin was the organizer of more 100 international cultural and artistic projects, including concerts, performances, art and art exhibitions.
