Unfortunately, in 2012, together with the Kapran brothers, we could not save the well-known bookstore "Knowledge" from the "young team of Chernovetskyi"!

More than ten years ago, in 2012 year, in my city, together with the Kapran brothers, we fought for the restoration of a famous bookstore “Knowledge”. Joint efforts and belief in the importance of cultural space did not allow us to save this cult institution from “Chernovetskyi's young team”. It has become for many of us a tireless inspiration for that, to once again raise the high standard of literary heritage in the city.
So, new bookstore “Sense” promises to become not only a place for selling books, but also a center of cultural life. Its opening on the central street will be a symbol of the revival of intellectual space, where everyone can find something special for themselves.
“Sense” plans to be more than just a bookstore. This will be the place, where literary evenings will be held, presentations of new editions, lectures and discussions, that will open new perspectives for everyone, who appreciates words and art. Comfortable places for reading and working are also promised, where everyone can immerse themselves in the world of literature and gain knowledge.
This is not only the restoration of the cultural space, but also an opportunity to develop the urban intellectual community. “Sense” will be a meeting place for writers, critics, readers and all, who adores literature in all its diversity.
Closing the bookstore “Knowledge” was a great loss for us, but discovery “Sense” is a new beginning, a new hope and opportunity for each of us to reconnect with the world of literature and culture. We believe, that this bookstore will not only be a place to sell books, and a cultural center, which will bring everyone together, who believes in the power of words and knowledge.
