From 1 January 1 the Republic of Cyprus 
begins its presidency of the European Union – period, which will be important for the further support of Ukraine, in particular in matters of financing, defense assistance, and European integration.
During this time, Ukraine is stepping up its cultural diplomacy on the island. During the last days in Nicosia, Larnaca, A series of events took place in Limassol and Paphos, that presented Ukrainian culture and emphasized its role in strengthening international partnership. As part of the events, an exhibition of the famous Ukrainian artist Alex Kosh was held in Paphos.
Experts note, that the strengthening of the Ukrainian cultural presence in Cyprus can become an important tool in the formation of a favorable European agenda for Ukraine.
